Calm Before the Storm
THE BOOK TOUR:
Well, the rubber really did hit the road. I did six book events in February. I have seven book events in March. Five in April. And I just found out I will be presenting on a featured fiction panel during the Bay Area Book Festival the first week of May!
My book tour will take me to a number of places in person in the following order: LA, SF, Brooklyn, Honolulu, Philadelphia, Madison, Minneapolis, Bend, Portland, Provincetown. A couple of events are virtual, including the Chicago Sunday Salon.
If you live in any of these cities, please come. If you know people who live in these cities, please invite them to my live reading! An author needs audiences!

We had 100 people there, half of them in person, and a great time!

NOW IT IS YOUR TURN!! I can’t tell you how blown away I have been by people getting in touch with me personally to tell me how blown away they were by my book! There has been nothing more rewarding than receiving these missives out of the blue, even a couple from strangers! But I want a lot of people to read these raves, not just me.
So the next step is for you to write reviews others can read!
I read somewhere that: “One of the most generous things you can do for the author of a book is to write a review and post it on Amazon.com or Goodreads.com.” It’s true! Sarabande and I have been encouraging everyone to purchase a book from independent book stores. But now you can buy another one for a friend on Amazon so you can publish your review there! Or put a rating and/or a review on Goodreads!
